PULCE-SG197
SERVO-OPERATED LEVEL TRANSMITTER
The PULCE SG197 is a servo-driven level transmitter, individually tested to ensure maximum reliability. A single instrument that includes many features:
- reliable and precise even in the presence of liquid turbulence, foam or variations in temperature, pressure or dielectric constant of the product;
- safety barriers are integrated inside to reduce installation costs, eliminating external explosion-proof boxes or enclosures;
- no certified or low impedance cables are required to install it;
- various single or multiple, average or point temperature probes, pressure transducer, “water foot” detection probe and density detection are available.
OPERATING PRINCIPLE
The servo-driven level transmitter consists of a displacer that is positioned in the fluid by a servomotor. The displacer is connected to a measuring wire wrapped around a spool. When the displacer is lowered by a small motor until it touches the liquid, the weight of the displacer is reduced by the buoyancy of the liquid, which is "read" by the instrument's electronics.
