The PO SG281 level switch is an exceptionally simple and robust instrument, designed to identify, with great precision and reliability, well defined level values, generally high, very high and low. The instrument is composed of a stainless steel well, along which the floats run with a special magnet embedded which switches the internal contacts. A terminal board located in the upper part of the instrument allows to easily carry out the wiring of the connection line between the storage tank and the pump room or the backplane. The contacts that SG2CI1 makes available are mainly used by the control systems of the plant to perform pump block operations, valve closure and visual acoustic warning of the achievement of the intervention level.
